Be Still and Know That I AM GOD!

Have you ever been going along and, suddenly, get blindsided by a bad report? I certainly have. Maybe you hear something about one of your children, or the Internal Revenue Service unexpectedly demands thousands of dollars. Most of the time, the hardest thing to deal with is a doctor’s report that leaves you wondering what hit you, and what in the world do you do now? There are some very important things we must do in these situations, and some equally important things we must never do. The first, and most important, is to STOP! BE STILL, and KNOW that He is GOD. Be quiet. Take authority over your words immediately because the power of death and life are in the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). Your words will determine the outcome of any situation, whether it will be victory or defeat. Immediately engage the help of the Greater One who lives in you by praying Psalm 141:3:

Never! Ever! Quit!

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by The WORD of God. Now, throw 1 John 4:4 in there, and shout in the devil’s face: “THE GREATER ONE LIVES IN ME! I CANNOT BE DEFEATED, AND I WILL NEVER QUIT!”

Your confession of faith is your combine and the power of the Holy Spirit, the mighty Engine bringing your words to pass. You will hear, “Daughter, or son, your faith has made you whole.”

Our harvesting tools are the words of our mouths, but only if we refuse to yield to the pressure. It ain’t over till it’s over! We don’t play nine-inning games. We play until we win! It’s our bat and our ball. Our heavenly Father is the Umpire. Read the back of the Book: We win!

Awake to Righteousness!

1 Corinthians 15:34; 2 Corinthians 5:21:

Awake to righteousness, and sin not.” The lack of knowledge of righteousness is a huge hindrance to faith. But a lack of awareness of righteousness is even worse. That verse did not say, “Awake to holiness, and sin not.” Righteousness and holiness are two different things. You can grow in holiness, but the moment you received Jesus as your Savior and LORD, you were MADE the righteousness of God.

Righteousness is the ability to come boldly to the throne of grace and stand, or even sit, in the presence of a holy, sinless God without a sense of guilt or shame. After being made sin for us, Jesus went to hell and suffered our penalty. Then, in the midst of that awful pit of suffering, The WORD of the Almighty God broke through, and Jesus became the first BORN FROM THE DEAD—BORN from sin to righteousness by The WORD of righteousness.

Growing Up Into Him!

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by The WORD of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” Most believers never grow beyond that, and that’s tragic! Spiritual growth is different from natural growth. Growth of the physical body is built into natural DNA, but that’s not the case with spiritual growth.

There are five basic training steps toward maturity that I want to share with you. As with any kind of training, you start with the simple and, with practice, your spirit will begin to grow.

Step No. 1 is: Meditate in God’s WORD.

Step No. 2 is: Become a doer of The WORD.

Step No. 3 is: Put The WORD of GOD first place in your life.

Step No. 4 is: Obey the voice of your spirit.

Step No.5 is: Do what God says.

Faith is Now!

God’s goodness and love, provided the means by which to fulfill every desire of our lives: “Believe that ye receive them, AND ye shall have them.” When do we believe? NOW. “I’m not moved by what I see. I’m not moved by what I feel. I’m moved by what I believe. I believe I receive. I take it NOW!”  Hebrews 11:1  Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of
things not seen.

Teach My People Faith!

The undeserved favor of God is His overwhelming desire to treat us as though sin had never happened. So, what is faith? It’s a spiritual force generated in the reborn human spirit that is released through the mouth with words. Faith-filled words dominate the law of sin and death. Romans 8:2 says: “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” Spiritual forces are the most powerful forces there are: love—hate, faith—fear, BLESSING—cursing, life—death. All these are spiritual forces released with words.

The Fog is Here Get in it!

You and I know that the world of religion has portrayed God as heartless and untouchable.  What is He really like? What is the truth about Him? The simple answer to these questions is: “Look at Jesus.” Jesus said, “He that hath seen me hath seen the Father” (John 14:9). In John 1:14, the apostle said,

14 And The WORD was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

The word grace in that verse comes from the Greek word charis, which means “that which affords joy, pleasure, delight, sweetness, charm, loveliness, goodwill, lovingkindness and favor.”

The Decision is Yours

If you don’t make a choice, the devil will make one for you. THE BLESSING is received by faith. The curse is already there doing its best to come on you and overtake you. You made a choice, a decision, to receive Jesus as your LORD and Savior, otherwise you would not be a born-again believer today. God, our Father, has done His part. He sent Jesus to the cross. Jesus was made to be sin for us. And He was made a curse for us, so that THE BLESSING of Abraham might come on us gentiles. That’s THE BLESSING.

God's Word Stirs Up Your Faith

There’s no such thing as faith that won’t come. The WORD of God stirs up faith the way heat stirs up water. There’s no such thing as water that won’t boil. In the same way that water is still and inactive without heat,
faith is still and inactive without hearing, and hearing, and hearing The WORD of God. When faith boils over, the desired end results come. That’s when healings manifest and financial breakthroughs come. Isn’t faith a wonderful thing? Think about it. The very faith of God Himself is in your born-again spirit right now.

The Perfect Law of Liberty

“What are you seeing when you watch the Super Bowl and the World Series? You’re watching masters of the fundamentals of the game. The game is the same, and played by the same rules, whether it’s a Little League game played by 10-year-olds, or by the best of the best. How did they become the best? Practice, practice, and more practice. Then, about the time they thought they’d arrived, they practiced, practiced, and practiced some more. That’s the way it is with faith.
