Whenever praying and confessing isn’t yielding results, it is wise to look at other factors, which is what you’re doing.
Financial success and prosperity are promised in God’s Word, but like any other promise, there are conditions we must meet as well. Obedience is key to every promise. Without it, there is no guarantee of results. So, ask yourself the following:
- Am I tithing 10% of my gross income to the local church? (Malachi 3:10)
- Am I holding a grudge against anyone? (Galatians 5:6)
- Is there any sin in my life that needs to be dealt with? (Isaiah 1:19-20)
- Am I praying and confessing one minute, then experiencing fear and doubt the next? (James 1:6-7)
Each of these factors can and will block blessings and the promises of God from coming to pass. If none of these is the issue, the next thing you need to do is ask God for wisdom (Proverbs 4:7) and a rhema word from Him. There may be a key to unlocking your prosperity that God has in mind.
A fast is a good way to clear away the flesh to hear from Him. Praying in the spirit is also another way to bring out the mysteries of God. When we have questions, He always has the answer. Be open to what He has to say to you. Small corrections in our lives lead to BIG breakthroughs.
Finally, don’t neglect the unmatched power of praise in your life. When answers don’t come immediately, the devil tries to get you to respond in defeat. Instead, before you see any results, praise God with all your might! “Thank You, Lord! Thank You for my breakthrough! Thank You that I am increasing in finances daily! Thank You that I am debt free in Jesus’ Name!”
When you do all these things, get ready. Your victory is coming!
