Question of the Day

When Kenneth and Gloria started their journey of faith they had questions too—lots of them! So, we've compiled the most frequently asked questions by people like you—people who earnestly desire to find God's answers to the practical, real-life challenges of everyday living. We have a new question every day, so check back often!

You can be at total peace when you have finished your course, because God has assured us of eternity with Him. Romans 8:3 9 says that nothing “in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our lord.” Therefore, we have nothing to fear.

When you die, your spirit leaves your body and goes immediately to heaven. Second Corinthians 5:6-8 (NKJV) says, “To be absent from the body [is] to be present with the Lord.” Hallelujah!

The Apostle Paul said, in Philippians 1:23, “I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far” (NIV). And Jesus assured us in John 11:25 that we will live even when we die.

As for your body, when you die you leave your body, but we know that when the resurrection takes place, and the dead in Christ are raised, we will each receive a new body—a glorious and glorified body (1 Thessalonians 4:16, Philippians 3:21). Then, we will spend eternity with Him in heaven. What a wonderful time we can expect!
