Since before the foundation of the world, God has wanted to be in covenant with each and every one of us. It is His will that everyone be saved, that everyone of us make Jesus the Lord of our lives. In one of his letters to Timothy, Paul said, “This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth” (1 Timothy 2:3-4). It is because of this that God reaches out for us and draws us to Himself continually—but not just until we are saved. He doesn’t stop there. Through the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit, God longs to be in fellowship with us daily, to be communing with us continually, to be leading and guiding us into all truth, to be showering us with THE BLESSING, and all that is rightfully ours because of our covenant partnership with Him (John 16:13).
If you’re not sure what all is rightfully yours because of covenant, consider the following 10 Benefits of God’s Partnership Covenant With Us. There are even more, of course, because God’s BLESSINGS are endless, but these 10 will help you realize how He cares about every area of your life.
Healing
“Let all that I am praise the Lord; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name. Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!” (Psalm 103:1-5).
Hope
“But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired” (Isaiah 40:31, AMPC).
Faith
“So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ” (Romans 10:17).
Love
“Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love” (1 John 4:7-8).
Prosperity
“And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19).
Faithfulness
“The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning” (Lamentations 3:22-23).
Favor
“And let the beauty and delightfulness and favor of the Lord our God be upon us; confirm and establish the work of our hands—yes, the work of our hands, confirm and establish it” (Psalm 90:17, AMPC).
Freedom From Fear
“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control” (2 Timothy 1:7, AMPC).
Peace
“Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7).
Endless Blessings
“And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation]. As it is written, He [the benevolent person] scatters abroad; He gives to the poor; His deeds of justice and goodness and kindness and benevolence will go on and endure forever! And [God] Who provides seed for the sower and bread for eating will also provide and multiply your [resources for] sowing and increase the fruits of your righteousness [which manifests itself in active goodness, kindness, and charity]” (2 Corinthians 9:8-10, AMPC).
