Read how a faith-filled couple turned the tables on their doctors' reports and believed God for what seemed impossible: giving birth to their own child.

How do I deal with the effects of military PTSD in a marriage relationship?

Add to Favorites

This ministry loves our military and veterans! We have a heart to see them prosper in every area of their lives, and so does God! We also understand the struggles that come with PTSD. Gloria Copeland’s father, a WWII veteran, struggled with PTSD and alcohol as a result.

The world believes people who have faced trauma and struggle with PTSD are doomed to do so for life. But Jesus doesn’t agree. He came to give every believer life more abundantly. He came to set people free from every form of torment and bondage. He is the Healer. He is the Deliverer!

Is it wrong for a Christian to watch rated-R movies?

When it comes to certain lifestyle choices, as Christians, it is important to discern between absolute truth and what is a wise choice. The Apostle Paul said everything is permissible but not all things are beneficial (1 Corinthians 10:23). In other words, if something is not expressly identified in the Word of God as sin, it does not necessarily make it the wisest choice.

Doesn’t the Old Testament say that God uses sickness to discipline man?

Certainly the wording of certain scriptures, especially in the King James Version, has caused some to wonder if God is the One who inflicts sickness on us. For example, Deuteronomy 28:61 has been translated, “Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the Lord bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.”

If I believe I’m healed, should I stop taking medications or receiving treatments?

It’s important to know that there is nothing spiritually wrong with taking medicine. It is perfectly acceptable to attack sickness on both the natural and the spiritual level.

Not taking medicine is not what will get you healed. Faith in God and His Word that says, “By His stripes you were healed,” is what brings healing. His Word makes it clear that in His great love, God wants all His people well. In many cases, a person’s faith may not be developed enough to receive healing without taking medicine.

How can I stop overeating?

Years ago, Kenneth Copeland weighed 263 pounds. He doesn’t hesitate to share his testimony about how he was delivered from food addiction and from fueling his body with wrong food choices. Once he got revelation from God and allowed His supernatural power to help him crucify the flesh, he was delivered from all food addiction, lost the weight, and never looked back. He has maintained his healthy weight for decades through a determination to stay fit for the Kingdom.

Are some foods considered unholy to eat?

Add to Favorites

In the Old Testament, under the old covenant, some foods were deemed unholy to eat. But Jesus changed all that with the establishment of the new covenant.

In 1 Timothy 4:3-5 (NLT), the Apostle Paul says, “Some…will say it is wrong…to eat certain foods. But God created those foods to be eaten with thanks by faithful people who know the truth. Since everything God created is good, we should not reject any of it but receive it with thanks. For we know it is made acceptable by the word of God and prayer.”

What are Gloria’s favorite healing scriptures?

Add to Favorites

After teaching Healing School for over 40 years, Gloria knows a thing or two about receiving from the Lord!

Here are the scriptures used by Gloria Copeland when she needed healing in her body. As she often says, “Anytime you want to receive healing, you just take it. All you have to do is stand your ground.”

How do you stand your ground? With the Word of God!

Gloria believes in taking healing scriptures like medicine. The Word says it is medicine to our flesh, after all (Proverbs 4:20-22)! As she likes to say, “You can’t overdose on the Word of God.”

Should I eat the same way they did in Bible times?

Under the old covenant, the people of Israel were given dietary laws which outlined clean and unclean foods (Genesis 9:2-4; Exodus 23:19; Leviticus 7:23-27, 11:1-47, 17:10-16; Deuteronomy 14:3-21). Not only were these laws protective of their health, but they were also required to be obeyed in order to be in right-standing with God. If they obeyed, they were blessed; if they disobeyed, they came under the curse of the law (Deuteronomy 28).

I prayed for someone to receive healing, but the manifestation did not come. Why?

It is so important to remember that when it comes to God, He deals with everything according to the heart. There are times when unbelievers can receive healing. And there are times when believers don’t.

The miracle-working power of Jesus is always available, but sometimes we have to press in to discover just how to receive or minister healing to another person. Praying in the spirit and listening for the leading of the Lord will help you discern how to minister healing to an individual.

Does God still heal today?

Religious tradition says that healing has passed away. They aren’t exactly sure when it happened, but they seem certain of its demise.

When you start reading the Bible, however, it’s easy to see why tradition is mistaken. God said, “I am the LORD that healeth thee” (Exodus 15:26, KJV). He didn’t say, "I was the LORD who healed you," or, "I will be the LORD who heals you in heaven someday." He said, "I am your Healer—right now, today!" “I am the LORD, I change not” (Malachi 3:6, KJV).
